This week we get to focus on Union Station. Although it is officially in the LoDo neighborhood, when we toured, researched and ended up with over 200 great pictures, we decided to peel it out as a neighborhood of its own to spotlight this week. . “Ever since its founding in 1858, Denver has served as a hub for people passing from one destination to another. Because Denver has no navigable rivers, its destiny was instead carved out by the evolution of the railroad… . In 2012 Union Station underwent an extreme makeover, ultimately becoming one of the most popular neighborhoods in Denver. Attracting restaurants, bars, businesses, hotels, apartments and condos. Today, it is a must “experience” in Denver for visitors as well as those who live in the area. It’s hard to come to Denver without making your way to this gorgeous building and neighborhood, filled with history and vibrant energy. .
